About me

My artistic practice explores the materiality of the bodily in connection to the macabre through texture and tactility. The abject is juxtaposed with the aesthetically pleasing and represented through lines and shapes found in organic material such as meat, skin and bones. I am  particularly interested in illustration, printmaking, photography and textile.

I am currently a student at the National Academy of the Arts in Oslo, where I am doing the two-year Master's program in medium- and material-based art, specifically in printmaking and drawing. I also have a master's degree in English Literature.
